Militaria Recently Sold

Gary Traynor is the Administrator of the Militaria website MEDALS GONE MISSING. The aim of this site is to reunite families, with their lost heritage.
Gary has been actively involved in the preservation of Militaria and the researching of Military History for over 25 years. During this time, he has travelled extensively around the world - conducting numerous study trips to Gallipoli, The Western Front, Kokoda and other major battle sites. He served for over 23 years with the New South Wales Police Force and is a former member of the Australian Army Reserve, having served with 4/3 RNSWR and UNSWR. He was very privileged to have served as a Volunteer Guide at the Australian War Memorial for a period of time.
Gary is currently conducting guided tours of the Kokoda Track in his spare time - and has a close association with the Tour Companies KOKODA HISTORICAL which is based in Melbourne; and KOMPLETE KOKODA which is based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. He is also the Director of the tour company GALLIPOLI HISTORICAL TOURS and conducts tours to Turkey annually.
This site is dedicated to the memory of Private Clifford Henry TRAYNOR NX179966, 2nd A.I.F. (Formerly N479846 Australian Military Forces) My father - who lived by the code of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". He once wrote"I have never expected more from life than I have put into it" and he never considered anyone a failure - unless they stopped trying.
