The First World War Embarkation Roll has him leaving Sydney on the 17th of March, 1915 aboard HMAT Shropshire. His other war medals have been sold but I do not know who had purchased them. If you have this Death Plaque, I would love to hear from you please. His next of kin was Alfred and Emma Hookham and they may have come from Hornsby in N.S.W. (P70)
