Medal Type: WW1 - British War Medal

Corps/Service: Navy

Country: United Kingdom

Sale Price: $0

I am searching for the family of Midshipman R.H. THORNTON who served during the Great War with the Royal Navy. This British War Medal was acquired by Merl Fitzgerald of New South Wales, Australia. The medal was previously in the possession of her Aunt who may have known this man when he was alive. His service number is not stamped on the edge of the medal, the inscription simply reading:- Midshipman R.H. THORNTON R.N. Any assistance that may be offered in returning this war medal to his family, would be greatly appreciated.
