The year 1942 was Australia's darkest hour. Seventy five years on, we remember that desperate year when Japanese midget submarines launched an attack upon Sydney Harbour. On the 31st of May, 2017 in accordance with the KUTTABUL COMMEMORATION PROJECT; a harbour cruise will follow the route of the Japanese midget submarines. World reknown author and historian Steven Carruthers will narrate the history as it unfolded; and an official wreath laying will take place on the water, near where the Kuttabul went down with the loss of 21 lives.
