Adelaide River

The Adelaide River War Cemetary, serves as the commemoration point for the small township of Adelaide River. Despite the geographic distance, it also serves as the final resting place of the civillians and servicemen who were killed during the Japanese bombing raid on the 19th of February, 1942. Like any other Commonwealth War Graves Commission chartered cemetary, it bears the "Cross of Remembrance" as it's central point.

Alice Springs

The Alice Springs War Memorial on top of Anzac Hill in the heart of the Northern Territory. This view is looking to the south. Originally known simply as "The Hill", it was later known as "Stott Hill" and then "View Hill". However in 1934 it was officially renamed ANZAC HILL in honour of the Australians and New Zealanders killed during the First World War.
