First World War postcards from Private Percy Hugh Ray GOODWIN to his parents, during the Great War. According to the First World War Embarkation Roll, Percy Hugh Ray GOODWIN left Port Sydney on the 18th of October, 1914 aboard HMAT Afric (A19). The postcard depicts a patriotic scene with motiff "Nous sommes soldats de l'humanite. Les portes-fanions de la liberte". Made in Paris. Inscribed on back by Percy Goodwin to his father. It is dated 3rd of April, 1915. The lettercard - "Republique Francaise - Correspondence Militaire" is dated 1916. It is addressed to Mrs. G.F. Goodwin. Auburn, NSW by her son Percy. These cards were purchased on ebay for $5.70 and will only be returned to a direct descendant upon strict proof of relationship.

Second World War R.A.A.F. Log Book pertaining to Air Navigator, Flight Sergeant Leslie Charles RYMAN who was born on the 25th of December, 1922 at Strathfield in NSW. Trained in an Avro Anson, this serviceman according to the World War Two Nominal Roll enlisted into the Royal Australian Air Force on the 1st of October, 1943 and discharged on the 3rd of August, 1945 from the 7 Operational Training Unit at Tocumwol. This RAAF log book was placed on the open market but failed to sell on the 30th of April, 2011.
