Second World War 03 pattern waterbottle carrier issued to Private Kennath Allan CURRIE. He was born on the 10th of December, 1916 at Brisbane in Queensland. The World War Two Nominal Roll has him joining the 2nd AIF on the 18th of April, 1941 with the 2/6th Infantry Battalion. Sadly he died on the 09th of February, 1943. The World War Two Nominal Roll has him enlisting into the Royal Australian Air Force on the 15th of July, 1943 and discharging on the 15th of January, 1946. Posting on discharge was the 9 Aircrew Holding Unit. This bible was placed on the open market but failed to sell on the 26th of March, 2008. The World War Two Nominal Roll has him enlisting into the 2nd AIF on the 6th of November, 1939 and discharging on the 4th of October, 1945. Posting on discharge was the 2/2 Australian Field Regiment. 1919 Leave Pass written by a Captain J. WAGNER who was the Adjutant for the Lytton Garrison Guard (Brisbane - Queensland) in June of that year. He wrote the Leave Pass for a Private by the name of McALLISTER on the 19th of June, 1919. Based on records with the Australian Archives, it should not be difficult to confirm Captain WAGNER's personal details. This slip (leave pass) is only on offer to the direct descendants of Captain WAGNER or Private McALLISTER.

1919 Leave Pass said to be for a Private McALLISTER (possibly of the 2nd Battalion AIF. It is dated the 19th of June, 1919 and the recipient was in camp at Quarantine Guard Lytton (Brisbane - Queensland) at this time. It is possible that Private McALLISTER had just arrived back into Australia from abroad and was awaiting demobilization. Research via the Australian Archives may shed some light at to the correct identity of this soldier. This Leave Pass is only on offer to the descendants of Private McALLISTER and is not for general sale.

The World War Two Nominal Roll has her enlisting on the 31st of October, 1942 and discharging on the 29th of March, 1946. Posting on discharge was the 87 Operational Base Unit. She was born in Liverpool, England on the 03rd of February, 1920. NOTE: This same carrier was issued to WX19151 Ron Caporn. It will be sold to either the family of Florence Hobson or the CAPORN family upon proof of relation.
