Second World War kit bag issued to Sergeant David Charles SPARK of Ballarat in New South Wales. He was born on the 11th of May, 1913. The World War Two Nominal Roll indicates that he joined the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) on the 19th of February, 1941 and discharged on the 21st of November, 1945. Posting on discharge was the Air Force Headquarters. This item was purchased from eBay by the Medals Gone Missing Administrator and will only be sold back to the family upon proof of relationship.

Second World War 'Souvenir Letter Card' sent by Sergeant William Dudley HEMMINGS to his mother, Helena Hemmings. He was born on the 23rd of December, 1917 at Coolamon in NSW. The World War Two Nominal Roll indicates that he enlisted into the RAAF on the 8th of November, 1941 and discharged on the 6th of December, 1945. By the end of the war, he had been promoted to the rank of Flying Officer and had won the DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross) This card will only be returned to the family upon proof of relation. It was purchased from a deceased estate auction at Adelaide in 2008.

In accordance with the World War Two Nominal Roll, she changed her name to Brenda Catherine BELL which may indicate that she became married during the war years. Henceforth, this shirt is listed under both her married name and her maiden name.
