My Great Grand Fathers (William Joseph PURCELL) Medals were sold by a Great Auntie many years ago. I am current serving member, each generation has served since William did, I am attempting to restore the families collection of medals to pass down one day. Last known to be sold in March 2003 by Nobles Numismatics in Syd - they can't contact buyer. It should be his full rack including: Distinguished Conduct Medal (GVR); British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal (MID); British War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. I have done extensive research and have the full history and service records for all relatives. It would be a great honor to our entire family get them back or at least be able to hold the originals.

The First World War medals of Private Claude AUBIN are missing. His service number was 2341 and he served in the Australian Imperial Force as a member of the 2nd Infantry Battalion. Claude AUBIN and his brother Cyril enlisted in Sydney NSW on 28th May 1915 and were attached to the 2nd Battalion AIF. The brothers both served on the Western Front (Cyril KIA) and Claude was invalided home to Australia in 1916. The whereabouts of his WW1 medal trio is unknown. This medal set consists of the 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal. Any information would be very much appreciated.

Looking for war medals, Record of Service book and photographs pertaining to Stanley Herbert SEIVER. Lost many years ago. Apparently sold on Ebay in 2015. Whilst this post states 'Pacific Star', all six medals awarded to Stanley Herbert SEIVER have gone missing. The full set consists of:- 1939-1945 Star, Africa Star, Pacific Star, Defence Medal, 1939-1945 War Medal and 1939-1945 Australia Service Medal. The World War Two Nominal Roll states that he was discharged as a member of the 2/28th Infantry Battalion AIF. It would be very much appreciated if the person who purchased the medals on ebay back in 2015 would kindly consider selling them back to my family.

Donald GRANT was born in Nigg, Scotland. He fought at the battle of Maida and received the general service medal for his actions there. He was with the 78th Regiment of Foot (Ross-shire Buffs). We believe the medal and bar ended up in New Zealand and we would dearly like to locate it.

The missing war medals consist of the Military Cross, 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal, 1939-1945 War Medal and Territorial Service Medal with ribbons mounted with a large pin to fix to a uniform. William Arthur Servant (4649) attested for the 8th South African Horse on 19 April 1916, aged 24 years. He served in East Africa and was discharged on 25 March 1917. Stolen during a burglary in Pietermaritzburg – South Africa in January 2001. These medals were subsequently sold at auction be Dix Noonan Webb (London) on 2 March 2005.
