I am searching for the pair of Medals Naval awarded to Alan SLADE. The General Service clasp Brunei Medal, Campaign service Medal 1962-Clasp-Borneo. Both medals will be impressed with the details:- RM 20971 A.Slade Mne R.M.

My family is missing the British war medal and the Victory medal awarded to Thomas Alfred Burtt of the 25th Battalion AIF for service during WW1.Thomas died of wounds in April 1918 and eventually his 1914/1915 star ended up in his older brother's possession. But the British War medal and the Victory medal went missing.

My family is searching for the missing war service medals of Joseph BAKER. DOB: 13 October 1878 (some documents show 1879). Place of Birth: Brasted, Kent, England Navy Service: 1897 to 1916 DOD: 31 May 1916, Battle of Jutland, HMS Queen Mary Wife: Mary Elizabeth (Duval) Baker. (some documents show Mary L. Baker). Wife sold all medals to support five young children. Other medals required: 1914-1915 Star Medal, Victory Medal and British War Medal.

My family is searching for the missing Queen's South Africa Medal with 2 clasps; 'South Africa 1901' and 'Cape Colony', awarded to my Grandfather, Patrick DOYLE. The medal has not been seen in my family since the 1990's in Auckland New Zealand. My grand father was 16 yrs old at the time of his service, quite tall and lied about his age stating he was 19. William Henry Carr-Boyd enlisted Rockhampton. Joined 42nd Battalion as Acting Quarter-master Sergeant and later transferred to 41st Battalion. After returning to Australia went to Western Australia where he died. I purchased his Victory Medal from America. I would like to re-unite this B.W.M. with his Victory. I am searching for the missing First World War medals of William Michael Joseph GUILFOYLE, Service Number 2322. He is listed on the First World War Embarkation Roll as William Michael James GUILFOYLE, Service Number: 2232 Rank: Private Roll title: 7 Infantry Battalion - 1 to 8 Reinforcements (December 1914 - August 1915) Conflict: First World War, 1914-1918 Date of embarkation: 17 June 1915 Place of embarkation: Melbourne Ship embarked on: HMAT Wandilla A62. William served with the 7 Battalion, AIF. Recipient was my Great-Great uncle, died 1961 in Queensland with no marriage or children. It is not known how the medal was obtained by non-family member after his death. Previous owner (Identity unknown) put this medal set up for auction on the 29th of January, 2011 at the Status International Public Auction house in Sydney. The medal set consists of the 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal and 1914-1918 Victory medal awarded to the same recipient.
