My family has absolutely no idea how the medal left our family, nor who sold the medal. I am trying to find my Great Grandfathers medals which were given to a family friend, 40 plus years ago (well before my time). The First World War Medals consist of a British War Medal and a Victory Medal, impressed with the name of Private A. STANAWAY. Any information would be much appreciated.

WANTED FOR RETURN TO OUR FAMILY: On the 15th of January, 2008 the Pacific Star belonging to Ira Lake DEWS sold to an unknown person. Our family was not even aware that this medal existed.
