A series of four envelopes written by an American serviceman, B. Edward RENNO and addressed to an Australian woman (Miss Doreen SEXTON) during World War Two. This man was serving aboard a destroyer in the U.S. Pacific Fleet (United States Navy) named the U.S.S. Beale in 1944. He held the position of 'SK 3/c' which is interpreted as 'Store Keeper 3rd Class'. Miss Doreen SEXTON lived at 25 Tennyson Street, Dulwich Hill in New South Wales. It is likely that they met, whilst the serviceman was on leave in Australia.

I am searching for the family of Samuel Edward PIELOW who was killed in action on the 28th of September, 1918 in France. He was buried at the Anneux British War Cemetery in France. His service number was 122059 and he was a Gunner with "D" Battery of the 69th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. I am in possession of his Death Plaque (Dead Man's Penny) which I purchased on ebay. If any of his family members are interested in having this Death Plaque returned, I am prepared to do this upon proof of relationship.
