Missing Medals

Hi, I am looking for the First World War Medals of my Great Uncle, George WALTERS. They consist of the 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal and the Victory Medal. The First World War Embarkation roll states that he embarked as a Driver with the 7 Field Ambulance. He was later transferred to the 14th Field Ambulance and was actually "Mentioned In Dispatches" on the 3rd of March, 1918 for his work, we believe in rescuing and evacuating wounded from the front. Any assistance in getting these medals back for my family would be greatly appreciated.

I am the the current and very proud owner of the R.A.A.F (Royal Australian Air Force) flying Log Book of Sergeant Alec Henry BEESLEY. He came from Mount morgan in Queensland and was sadly killed in action while serving in RAF Bomber Command. He served in number 103 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. I have his 1939-1945 War Medal..but would like to re-unite his missing medals if they still exist. The Medals missing are: 1939-45 Star, The Aircrew Europe Star, The Defence Medal & possibly the 1939-1945 Australia Service Medal.

I am searching for the First World War Medals (1914-1915 Star, British War Medal & Victory Medal) which was awarded to my Great Grandfather, Private Alfred William WILLETTS. He served in the 12th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps and was killed in action on the 16th of August, 1917 at 3rd Ypres (Passchendaele). He is buried at Tyne Cot Cemetary. Any assistance in recovering this war medal for my family, would be greatly appreciated.

The First World War Embarkation Roll indicates that he left Adelaide on the 9th of March, 1916 aboard RMS Mongolia. I have his British War Medal and Victory Medal and would like to have all of his medals reunited.

I am searching for the First World War Medals awarded to Private William Alfred GULLY of 16th Battalion. The First World War Embarkation Roll indicates that he left Melbourne on the 19th of February, 1915 aboard HMAT Runic. I have his 1914-1915 Star and Dead Man's Penny, and would like to have the medals re-united to complete his full entitlement.

The First World War Embarkation Roll indicates that he left Melbourne on the 26th of November, 1916 aboard HMAT Commonwealth as part of the 6th Field Ambulance. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission records indicates that he died of wounds on the 21st of September, 1917.

He served in the Great War in either the Lancashire Fusilliers or the Royal Horse Artillery, or possibly both. I am searching for the Second World War medals of Sergeant Vincent Leonard McALLISTER. The World War 2 Nominal Roll indicates that he enlisted into the AMF on the 12th of May, 1941 and discharged on the 17th of January, 1946. He was born at Charters Towers in Queensland on the 23rd of August, 1915. Posting on discharge was the HQ 5 AAD (AAOC). I am not sure what medals he was entitled to and the above is simply a guess. He may have been awarded other medals to what is listed. NOTE: MEDALS CLAIMED BY FAMILY AND ARE NO LONGER MISSING.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission website Private Albert THORBURN was killed in action on the 2nd of September, 1916. He was the son of William and Sarah THORBURN of Bruswick East, Victoria.
