The World War Two Nominal Roll has him enlisting into the 2nd AIF from the Militia. His previous service number was W78511 and he transferred to the AIF on the 14th of April, 1943. He discharged on the 12th of March, 1946. Posting on discharge was the 5 Australian Mechanical Equipment Workshops. His next of kin was Robert Baker.
