- Name: Entering SURNAME only should be sufficient to achieve a result. Initials only of first names, seperated by full stops may be entered. No spaces between the start of the Surname and the full stops: example: J.F.MCGRATH or C.H.TRAYNOR. Apostrophie must be entered e.g. O'REILLY
- Serial Number: Search by serial number. This is always the best way to find a particular person, but bear in mind that sometimes for various reasons, a serial number may have been changed.

- Unit Number: Enter the unit number ONLY - no other details. i.e. to find all items under the 10th Lighthorse Regiment - simply type in the number 10. Date of sale: 19 August 2011 Second World War medals (1939-1945 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal and the 1939-1945 War medal) with ribbons in the original cardboard box of issue with medal list insert. The medal box is addressed to Mr S.J. HARDY, Lay Hill, Bucks and the medals are believed to have been awarded to a 'Sergeant HARDY, who served with the R.A.S.C. (Royal Army Service Corps) during World War Two. The box has lthe label of RASC & ACC records, Hastings to reverse. It comes with Sgt Hardy's soldiers service book (lacks covers), period copy of Sgt Hardy's birth certificate, a few photos and some "All Services" Dockets. Sergeant Hardy, RASC, was born on the 18th of November, 1916.

Date of sale: 25 July 2011 First World War medals (British War Medal and Victory Medal) awarded to 5160 Private G.A. MUDFORD who served with the 11th Infantry Battalion, A.I.F during the Great War. George Mudford enlisted in the AIF from 3rd February 1916, and according to the First World War Embarkation Roll, he boarded HMAT Shropshire (A9) on the 31st of March, 1916. He began operations in France and Flanders with C Company, 11th Battalion from 29th July 1916, including the attacks on Pozieres. Served in operations near Ypres, Bullecourt, Passchendaele and Amiens from December 1916. Returned to Australia on 8th July 1919 and was discharged medically unfit on 23rd August 1919.
